Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Haus Ruhe Open Toe Slippers true to size?

The Haus Ruhe Open Toe Slippers are designed to fit slightly small. If you're between sizes, size up so your toes and heel sit comfortably on the footbed.

What are the slippers made of?

The upper is made from hemp, paired with an EVA footbed for cushioning. The open-toe design keeps your feet breathing, which makes them a good fit for warm rooms and year-round wear at home.

Are they comfortable for all-day wear around the house?

Yes, they're built for relaxing indoors, with a soft footbed and an easy slip-on shape that doesn't squeeze your toes. Wear them for a morning at your desk, an afternoon on your feet in the kitchen, or a lazy weekend at home.

Can I wear them outside?

They're designed mainly for indoor comfort, but the sole is suitable for quick trips like grabbing the mail or stepping onto the patio. For longer walks or wet surfaces, a proper outdoor shoe is the better choice.

How do I clean and care for them?

Hand wash with mild soap and cold water, then air dry away from direct heat. Avoid the dryer so the slippers keep their shape and cushioning.

Do they work for both men and women?

Yes, the slippers are available in a size range that suits both men and women, so check the size chart for your correct fit.
